Emeritus Professor Christopher Chong Yew Luen is a Senior Consultant Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Urogynaecologist with extensive experience in women's reproductive health, fertility treatment, and pelvic floor conditions.
He is a Singapore Ministry of Health-accredited IVF specialist with experience in managing fertility concerns, including complex cases and those involving women of advanced reproductive age. His clinical interests include in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), egg freezing, pregnancy care, and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
Beyond fertility care, Prof. Chong specialises in the assessment and management of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, and other pelvic floor conditions.
He has held several leadership and academic appointments, including Chairman of the Gleneagles Hospital Medical Board (2021–2023) and elected member of the Singapore Medical Council (2020–2023). He also contributes to medical education and training, sharing his experience with fellow healthcare professionals across the region.
